And One More Thing #19: Acknowledge

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

At work, sometimes there is that one staff who does all their work and then some and unfortunately gets so much more piled for them because everyone is convinced they like work. What is sad is sometimes, there is no acknowledgement of the efforts. Or some boss can just swoop in and take all the credit last minute.⁣

Creating content is hard work and then if you throw in the time you spend second guessing what you are creating, its harder. And then the work done in relation to the number of likes, shares and saves is not encouraging then throw in the one who now even misunderstands the whole message and ends up creating a ruckus in your comments or the DM, plus never mind that there is no favourable mention to help you grow your account to the dream 10k!⁣ Is that still the dream?

The good that we do for Allah's sake though...the reward is always better. ⁣

⁣He doesn’t ask that we be perfect and even with all the imperfections of our deeds, His reward is perfect.⁣

Our work can be just little and His reward is always better than the effort. ⁣

⁣Our work might even be temporary or we forget but His reward...⁣

⁣That. Is. Eternal.⁣
