And One More Thing #5: Optimism

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Do you know the story of the two friends?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When we think optimism, there are so many sayings that come to mind...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Every cloud has a silver lining ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
There is light at the end of the tunnel⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Seeing the glass as half full instead of half empty...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So the two friends...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They were running for their lives and they took refuge in a cave. As the people chasing them came really close, one said to the other... ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
"Don't worry, Allah is with us."⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Optimism! Having a positive outlook. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We need to do our bit too - for that tiny silver to stay alive.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They took refuge in cave. They didn't just wait in the path of the enemy trying to kill them.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So Allah is with us. He would see YOU through this too.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Pick up your Qur'an and string the words as best you can and Allah will not only meet you more than half way, He will reward you.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
In truth, irrespective of whether the glass is half full or half empty, what is more important is realizing that you have a glass and some water. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And now the question is what are you going to do with it?⁣⁣
