In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I love writing letters. I love reading them too.
I have all the letters my hubby has ever written me as well as all the letters i have written him (man doesn’t know how to keep them so I keep my thing by myself 😂). And every once in a while, I will bring them out and read them. To be honest, I cant wait to show our kids because they have been called by their names in letters between their parents, years before they were born. Alhamdulillah!
I recently found a letter in my wallet and as he peeked and saw his handwriting, he said, “I must have done something bad.” He was right! It was a cute apology contained therein.
Point is, we love letters. When we receive even a text message from someone special, we could read it over and over. We would sometimes memorize it. Your breath is easier and your load is lighter.
When you read the ayahs of the Qur'an (The Message) where Allah ﷻ speaks directly to the Messenger (SAW) you can only be in awe of the love.
Look and you will see how Allah ﷻ rarely calls him (the Messenger) by name.
O Prophet!
O he who wraps himself (with a garment)!
O covered one!
Allahu Akbar!
Allah ﷻ says, “Allah ﷻ and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O you who believe! Send your blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.” (33:56)
Allahumma salli alaa sayyidina Muhammad...
Say it again...
Imagine the streets of Madinah light up as you say it
Imagine him sitting with his companions and teaching them his legacy
Allahumma salli alaa sayyidina Muhammad...
Say it again and again
...until you fall in love with him.
The beloved…
