In the name of Allah the Most Beneficient, the Most Merciful
Are you grounded?
The word "grounded" is quite in vogue. And not in the sense of grounded pepper or spices like before. It is always in our need to stay grounded, less anxious or less overwhelmed.
Are you grounded?
Is it something you do or may it is something you become or just maybe it is something you are but you forget in some situations.
Are you grounded?
In the quarrel with your husband and the fight with your best friend and the demands of your sibling and the squabble of your neighbours and the rivalry between your children
Are you grounded?
In the rising of the sun and its setting. In the minutes and the hours. In the now and in the later.
Are you grounded?
In your today or your tomorrow and just maybe, would you ever get to read that letter to your future self?
Are you grounded?
Are we ever really? Just knowing what to expect and how to get through each day ladden with emotion.
Am I grounded?
What does that even mean?
I see it now, the mercy from Him.
This groundlessness
A mercy from the Most Merciful.
He is in control. Always has been.
