In the name of Allah, the entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." [Qur’an 2:30]
I love the hadith about the angels finding gatherings on earth that are engaged in the dhikr of Allah ﷻ - those circles of light. If you have ever sat in our circles, you must have heard it before.
To think that they sometimes find us in some gatherings where we too, praise and glorify Allah. Allah is the All-knowing!
That you are still here means you have a purpose. Don't ever think that you are too sinful for His Mercy. Just keep turning back to Him. He doesn't expect you to be perfect so don't put that expectation on yourself. Adjust your expectations on yourself and others. Just keep doing your best. And everyday too. I recently read something about if you give 100% everyday and sone day you have 40% and you give that, then you basically gave 100%
Knowledge is one by which Allah ﷻ raised the status of Adam(AS) over all creation. Yes! we cannot all be scholars but do not be too busy to seek some knowledge in whatever capacity you are able. Even if it just enough to practice your Islam. Do you believe you have enough knowledge to worship Allah as He has commanded?
Alhamdulillah for all the resources available to us nowadays. I am always in awe of and grateful for the explosion and access to knowledge and scholars that this time has come with it. May Allah ﷻ grant us beneficial knowledge.
