In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
يٰأَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ حَسبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ ٦٤
O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers. [Qur’an 8:64]
Hardship, difficulty and uncertainty leaves us feeling overwhelmed and frustrated.
Allah ﷻ does not do anything without a plan. His tests teach, remind, and are a means to earn reward. Do we have that true reliance on Allah ?
Again, we believe in Allah ﷻ but do we believe Allah?
When we are in a difficult situation sometimes, we try all we can till the point of exhaustion and overwhelm, but what if we remind ourselves to constantly turn to Allah ﷻ
Sometimes, we forget Allah ﷻ in ease and then maybe shame now prevents us from reaching out in difficulty. If you want something that belongs to someone, do you go ask another person for it? Well, Allah ﷻ owns everything. Who else do you have to go ask?
It takes a level of faith to believe that everything that happens for the the believer is Khair. Can we trust Him in that all that happens is Khair for us?
May Allah ﷻ increase us in Taqwa (God-consciousness), Iman (faith) and Istiqamah (consistency) and Tawakkul. Amin.
I prepared a small guidebook for anyone who wants to make tadabbur one small part of their day. It has one ayah from each juz, some notes from various tafasir (all referenced), and personal reflection questions. Allow the Qur'an transform you.
U just made my day with this ayah
May Allah bless you
