In the name of Allah, the entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
{ وَیَرَى ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَیَهۡدِیۤ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ }
[Surah Sabaʾ: 6]
Those gifted with knowledge ˹clearly˺ see that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and that it guides to the Path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.
Allah ﷻ describes those blessed with knowledge as those who recognize that the Qur’an is not merely words, but the truth. It directs us towards Him.
To walk the path of Al-Aziz is to recognize that true power belongs to Allah ﷻ alone. His might is absolute, and nothing in creation can challenge or diminish it. Whether we submit or rebel, His dominion remains untouched.
Sometimes, we hesitate, fearing the judgment of people, the pressures of the world, but, if we remember He is Al-Aziz, we are reminded that no hardship, no loss, no opposition is greater than Him. Strength is found in submission, not in defiance or strong head.
The path of Al-Hamid is a path of gratitude, devotion, and recognition of His perfection. Allah ﷻ is not only mighty, He is also the One most deserving of praise. Every blessing we experience, every moment of ease, every breath we take is a reason to glorify Him. Yet, Al-Hamid is praised not only in moments of comfort, but also in moments of trial. Even when we do not understand the wisdom behind His decrees, He remains worthy of praise.
I need to start to walk this path of strength, reliance, gratitude, and unwavering faith. True knowledge opens the eyes, softens the heart, and directs the soul toward Allah ﷻ…
Come to your Lord. Come closer.
"O Allah, You are Al-Aziz, the Almighty, grant us strength in our faith and keep us on the straight path. You are Al-Hamid, the Praiseworthy, fill our hearts with gratitude and our tongues with praise. Let us walk with certainty toward You, trusting in Your wisdom, surrendering to Your guidance, and never straying from You. Ameen."
