In the name of Allah, the entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
وَهُوَ الغَفورُ الوَدودُ
And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate [Surah al-Buruj: 14]
Some love is loud, spoken in grand gestures. Some love is quiet, felt between moments, or even in the nearness of someone who gives you space.
But all human love is fragile. It fades, it shifts, it depends and it can be lost.
And then there is al-Wadud.
A love that does not shake
A love that has never needed us, yet still chooses to embrace us.
We all long for acceptance.
We all fear being unworthy.
We have all wondered, at some point..
Can I still be loved? Am I still loved?
The answer- Yes!
Not because you are flawless.
Not because you have earned it.
But because He is al-Wadud!
His love is in every breath we take without even trying.
In the unseen ways He shows up for us.
In the doors He opens, and the ones He closes.
In the night we rise in prayer, and even in the nights we don’t.
We forget. He never forgets us.
We turn away.
And still…
He loves.
Ya Wadud, thank you for loving me, please make me of your grateful servants cos You have loved me, long before I knew to love You. Please forgive me and draw me close to you. Make me among the successful ones this blessed month and admit me into Your Jannah without account, and grant me the pleasure of seeing YOU.
For the last five years, Alhamdulillah, I have sat with a group of sisters and we would sit down twice a month and reflect on the ayaat of the Qur’an. It has become home and you can join us.

All praise and thanks are only for Allah, the One who, by His blessing and favour, perfected goodness/good works are accomplished.
Everything of Goodness from this is from Allah and anything that is wrong or in error is from me and my nafs and Allah and His Messenger are free from it and I seek Allah’s forgiveness.
Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise is to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.
And my concluding statement is , “All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the Worlds.”
Jazakumullahu khayran.
