In the name of Allah, the entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
{ قُل لَّن یُصِیبَنَاۤ إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰنَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ }
[Surah At-Tawbah: 51]
"Say, “Nothing can ever reach us except what Allah has destined for us. He is our Master. And in Allah alone the believers must place their trust.”
That moment when it happens…
The news you never wanted to hear.
The missed opportunity
The loss that reshaped your world in an instant.
Your heart tightens.
Your mind races, grasping for answers.
Why this? Why now? How do I fix it?
The moment of surrender…
Al-Mawla.
The One who has always been there, carrying you through storms you thought would consume you, placing unseen ease within hardships you were sure would break you.
“Nothing kills you except the last thing”
The One who sees beyond your panic, beyond your fear, beyond your limitations.
The One who knows what you do not.
Who writes what you would never have chosen, and “Alhamdulillah” even though we cannot always recognise it.
What reaches you was never meant to miss you. And what missed you was never meant to reach you.
But here is the real question:
You believe in Allah. Do you believe Allah?
Do you trust that He is near, even when you feel alone?
Do you trust that He is guiding, even when you cannot see the road?
Do you trust that His decree is a mercy, even when it arrives wrapped in hardship?
Because faith is not just believing that Allah exists.
It is believing that His plan is better than yours.
That even when your heart clenches at what could have been, your soul submits to what is.
It means trusting Him when the opportunity you desperately wanted is given to someone else, when you watch your plans unravel at the seams.
It means trusting Him when you almost had something, when your fingers touched the edge of what you longed for, only for it to slip away at the last moment.
It means seeing His mercy in the missed chances, His wisdom in the delays, His nearness in the desperate, needy duas.
I believe in Allah ﷻ
I must believe Him.
It is so heavy otherwise, let go of the weight you were never meant to carry alone.
Breathe through the uncertainty, knowing that your Mawla is near.
And then you arrive…
I believe in Allah and I believe Allah.
O Allah, Grant me a heart that rests in You, help me so my hands release what was never mine to hold, help my feet walk forward with trust in Your wisdom and help me so I do not just believe in You, let me believe You.

'what reaches you was never meant to miss you and what missed you was never meant to reach you'
this line is everything.
May Allah bless you for this. Exactly what i needed.
