In the name of Allah, the Entirely merciful, the Especially Merciful
It is here. Whether we are ready or not. Whether we are feeling it or not. Alhmadulillah!
That you are reading this means that Allah ﷻ has given you an opportunity, of which many who have passed away before today would have been happy to get.
“Just one more Ramadān”
I have been unwell leading to this day and I have found myself, desperate to reach it, even as all my pre-Ramadān prep, has been ‘kept’ to the side. It is okay if you are not ready yet. It is an important time. Please, let us not wing the whole month. YOU are here, YOU are okay In sha’a Allah. Bismillah.
And as we ask Allah ﷻ to allow us to benefit from the month. Amīn.
Most of the offers are not time bound because not everyone needs a rigid schedule for Ramadān.
We have a Qur’an Khatm Accountability group for females as we have always had for Ramadan.
We will have Qur’an community Room. The idea is a virtual “masjid” where you can just log in and recite the Qur’an, listen to the Qur’an being recited, a group of sisters can meet there and just listen to each other, find someone there to check your hifdh maybe, or a teacher and her student can just log in and read. If you are in any of our community groups, announce when you want to go in and if you need a companion even. All the links will be shared in each group.
Finally if you are team last minute and have not gotten your ramadan journal, please do so here. Get the digital version here and reach out for the printed version here.
If one of your intentions this month is tadabbur and you need practical tools, find some time and give this a listen in sha’a Allah. Even if it is not, it is good resource to have.
Over the month, I will be sharing my reflections as much as Allah ﷻ allows me too and I will be availabe for some instagram lives and fajr ‘tadabbur’ sessions as well in sha’a Allah. Please make du'a.
Also, our homeschool community has planned an orphanage visit for this Ramadan In sha’a Allah. We are still collecting funds for the next few days.
Please keep me and my family in your du’a. Ramadān Mubarak my lovely.
Love,
Umm Bilal
